STORY EXCERPT:
Grimacing, Gabriel looked at the brush in his very paint-stained hands then angrily turned back to glare ferociously at Ian.
“What do you mean, you haven’t been able to get a model? There’s got to be thousands of women out there who pose,” he growled.
“True, but you said you wanted an older woman and most women models that age are just not plus-sized.”
Furiously Gabriel snarled loudly, “Well, find one!”
“Calm down, Gabriel. I’ve contacted Erica Jones’ agency. We’ve used her agency before although I’ve never actually met her. She’s got plus-sized models on her books but I think they’re in their twenties and thirties. Still, she said she might have or might know someone.”
“I don’t want someone young, Ian,” Gabriel snapped, sick of telling Ian the same thing over and over. “I told you I want someone in their forties or even older. I don’t care if she’s in her late sixties or seventies. I want a woman with character, a woman who’s lived.”
“Okay, okay. I get the picture!”
Gabriel threw down the paintbrush and, stomping angrily across to his easel, he tried to look critically at the painting as he fumed on Ian’s unsuccessful search. Surely it shouldn’t be this hard to find one damn model! Ignoring Ian for the moment, he turned his attention back to the huge canvas in front of him.
A foreshortened figure of a gaunt naked man, lying on his back with his head toward the viewer, filled the painting. Even though the strokes were broad and heavy there was still a slight softness about the work that created a sympathetic feel. The haunted face appeared as if the man were in pain. Maybe from being stretched out or maybe he was ill or tortured. Whatever the reason, it drew the viewer immediately and they felt the same hurt, the same agony. It was an uncomfortable piece but it certainly demanded attention.
There wasn’t much work left to do on it and he really wanted to get started on the female nude. He took a deep breath, inhaling the aromas of paint, linseed oil, and turpentine.
Without turning, Gabriel said gruffly, “Just find someone, Ian.”
“I will. For goodness’ sake, Gabe, relax,” Ian snapped a retort.
Surprised at the exasperated tone in Ian’s voice, Gabriel turned back and really looked at the man who was both friend and agent. Gabriel saw with surprise that Ian looked very upset but was still trying to calm Gabriel down. Ruefully he realised at once Ian would be doing everything he could to satisfy Gabriel’s request.
They’d been friends for so long, ever since Gabriel started making his name in the art world. It was then he’d realised he’d need an agent and found Ian’s agency. Ian worked with the three “As”—artists, actors, and authors. Gabriel knew how hard Ian worked to satisfy his clients. Now Gabriel felt awful for yelling and complaining.
“I’m sorry. It’s just I get caught up and…”
Ian sighed loudly.
“I know, Gabriel. Believe it or not, I do understand. Let’s face it, I’ve seen you working for years so I know a little of what goes on inside that thick head of yours.” He smiled to take the sting out of his words. “Just when were you planning on starting the nude?”
Gabriel looked back at the vast painting.
“This…” He pointed to the canvas. “It’s really finished. I just want to touch up a few areas so maybe next week. The client wants this ready in three weeks so I’m ahead of time. Anyway, I want to get plenty of sketches down on the female nude so I can decide exactly on the pose and size. Until I have a model, I really don’t know the pose.”
He hoped Ian could understand the frustration he felt. His mind was filled with dozens of ideas but until he had an actual woman in front of him he wouldn’t be able to decide. The pose would really depend on the woman, how the play of light and shadows affected her body, even the woman’s personality would play into his ideas.
“I’m meeting Erica Saturday night, a party with a few million people, anyway hopefully she tells me she’s found someone.”
“Thanks, Ian.”
“If she doesn’t have a model then there’s a good chance she’ll know an agency that might be able to help. Don’t worry, Gabe, I’ll find her for you.”
“Sorry I got angry. I know you’re doing your best.”
Gabriel reached out a hand to Ian as a peace offering.

ADULT EXCERPT:

“So you like this, do you, Issie?”
He grabbed his dick and rubbed his hand up and down the shaft then stepped out of his jeans.
Oh my god!
It looked huge, thick, and long. Isabella panicked, wondering how on earth he would fit it inside her body. She suddenly realised she was licking her lips in anticipation.
“Tell me. Tell me you want my cock.”
“I…” She nodded.
“No, say it,” he demanded. “Say you want my cock.”
Stuttering, she said, “I…I want your cock.”
“Tell me, my beautiful Issie, have you ever sucked a man’s cock?”
She shook her head.
“Mm. Have you ever been fucked in the arse?’
She gulped and shook her head again. He untied one of her wrists and an ankle and rolled her onto her tummy before tying her arm again.
“I want this luscious arse bright pink.”
As he spoke he began rubbing and kneading her bottom. Isabella couldn’t help it. She lifted her buttocks slightly into his hand. Then she felt him smack one cheek. This was so different to the other time he did it, this time she was naked. He hit her bare flesh again.
Oh god, she thought, amazed, it feels so good.
He hit her again and this time he forced his fingers between her cheeks and pushed them down until he could rub her slit. Then he hit again and rubbed. She could feel how wet she was, it felt as if she was dripping onto the bed. Gabriel spread her juices between the cracks of her arse. She lost count of how many times he hit her, all she knew it felt amazing.
She kept saying to herself, please don’t stop.
She felt him untie her other ankle and then manoeuvre her until she was on her knees with her legs apart, her head against the bed. He moved until his face was against her ear.
That sexy voice of his murmured in her ear, “I’m going to fuck you, Issie. I’m going to fuck you until you come again then I intend to keep fucking you until I come.”
She turned her head to look at him, shocked.
“If you’re a good girl I might even let you come twice.”
“Twice?” she gasped.
“Mm, you have such a delicious cunt, I loved tasting it. Now I just know I’m going to love fucking it.”
His dirty words both shocked and excited her. She’d never had a man say such crude things to her during sex. She watched as he stood then smacked her arse again. He rolled the condom onto his swollen cock then pulled her around until he could position his dick at the entrance to her drenched pussy.
Gabriel put a hand on his cock and guided it between her lips. There was no nice gentle rubbing, no easing in, instead he thrust in hard. She cried out as she felt herself stretch painfully to accommodate his size and then Isabella felt his balls bang against her. The pain had disappeared and in its place was a burning hunger. Gripping her hips, he pulled her back and forth in time to his hard thrusts.
Instinctively Isabella began to move as well so Gabriel dropped one hand from her hips and instead began to rub her clit. He hammered her hard and rough. Isabella gasped with each thrust and she could hear Gabriel doing the same. She could hear their flesh slamming together, echoing in the room, could smell his masculine aroma and her softer sweeter one.
His fingers pinched and rubbed her swollen sensitive clit. Stunned, Isabella felt another climax rock her. She bit down on the sheet covering the bed as he continued to push his cock deep inside her.
He shouted, “That’s right, Issie. Come for me!”
He continued pummelling into her and Isabella was almost overwhelmed by the feeling in her mind and her body. It felt surreal, she felt as if she were starting to float. Gabriel used his other hand and pulled hard on one nipple, using it to direct her movements. Between his fingers on her clit, the one pulling her nipple and his cock ramming in and out of her, Isabella had no chance.
Her scream echoed around the room as her third orgasm shook her. Gabriel increased his thrusts. He pounded deeper and harder until she felt him grab her hips to pull her tight onto his cock. He shouted her name as she felt him fill the condom with his cum.
Isabella lost it.
She lost all sense of time. All she could feel was her body shuddering as that third climax rippled across. She thought Gabriel collapsed against her but she wasn’t sure as she followed the wonderful feeling. Never in her entire life had she experienced multiple orgasms. Never had she felt ones as hard and strong as these. She actually felt drained. She had an idea that Gabriel untied her and she thought she felt him lie beside her then gather her into his arms but she was too relaxed, too satisfied to even know for sure.

The Mad Monk's Treasure by Kris Bock...

The Mad Monk’s Treasure
 by
 Kris Bock

Smart romance with an 'Indiana Jones' feel.” #Romance + #Suspense

A legendary treasure hunt in the dramatic – and deadly – New Mexico desert.... Reviewers give it a 4.7 star average. Get this romantic adventure for only 99 cents or FREE with Kindle Unlimited!

The Mad Monk’s Treasure

The lost Victorio Peak treasure is the stuff of legends—a heretic Spanish priest’s gold mine, made richer by the spoils of bandits and an Apache raider. When Erin, a quiet history professor, uncovers a clue that may pinpoint the lost treasure cave, she prepares for adventure. But when a hit and run driver nearly kills her, she realizes she’s not the only one after the treasure. And is Drew, the handsome helicopter pilot who found her bleeding in a ditch, really a hero, or one of the enemy?

Erin isn’t sure she can trust Drew with her heart, but she’ll need his help to track down the treasure. She heads into the New Mexico wilderness with her brainy best friend Camie and a feisty orange cat. The wilderness holds its own dangers, from wild animals to sudden storms. Plus, the sinister men hunting Erin are determined to follow her all the way to the treasure, no matter where the twisted trail leads. Erin won’t give up an important historical find without a fight, but is she ready to risk her life—and her heart?

“The story has it all - action, romance, danger, intrigue, lost treasure, not to mention a sizzling relationship....”

Excerpt:

Among all the legends, all the fact and fiction, one story stood out. The Victorio Peak legend had it all. A Franciscan priest and a swindler. Torture, murder, a government cover-up. Where was the truth, among all the stories? Erin wanted to find out. Over time, and with Camie’s encouragement, she’d started to take the treasure hunt more seriously. It wasn’t so much for the treasure itself—that would most likely belong to the government or the landowners. But it would make her reputation, open up new job opportunities—change her life in ways she hardly dared dream.

She touched the book gently. The pages were falling out; she didn’t want to risk carrying it around. Instead, Erin snapped a picture of the petroglyphs with her phone. That would be enough to show Camie for now.

The timing was perfect; she just had to turn in grades and field a few tearful last-minute requests for extensions, and she’d be done for the semester. What better way to spend the summer, than hunting for buried treasure?

Erin shook her head. Who would’ve thought that she, the quiet, studious girl who’d spent her entire adult life in academia in one way or another, would be planning such an adventure?

Erin wheeled the bike around the front of her house and mounted. At the corner, she paused and looked both ways. The long frontage road was dangerously narrow, with a cement wall on one side and a ditch on the other. Fortunately, traffic was normally light, and at this time of day the road lay empty. Erin pushed off, still grinning from her find. She rode on the right side, by the ditch, instead of facing traffic, because it was just too frightening to ride alongside the wall when a car passed.

She’d gone a block when she heard the hum of a car engine as it pulled out from a side street behind her. She rode along the very edge of the pavement, even though the car would have plenty of room to pass her without oncoming traffic.

Erin glanced over her shoulder. The black SUV 20 feet behind her hadn’t bothered to pull out into the road at all. Jerk. When would drivers learn to share the road with bicyclists? Erin pulled onto the two-foot wide gravel strip between the pavement and the ditch. She couldn’t stop without risking a skid, but she slowed so the SUV could pass.

The engine roared. Erin glanced back again.

Black metal bore down on her. Her heart lurched and the bike wobbled. This guy was crazy! She whipped her gaze forward, rose up in the seat, and pumped the pedals with all her power, skimming along inches from the ditch. He was just trying to scare her. She’d get his license plate and—

She felt the bumper hit her back tire. The bike seemed to leap into the air, and she went flying. The dried mud and weeds of the ditch seemed to rise up to meet her.

She didn’t even have time to scream.

Coming Out by G D Ogan...

Coming Out
Book 3 of Immortal Relations
by
G. D. Ogan

Ogan's insights into the powers of the immortal vampires, along with fresh takes on the complex inner workings of their existence provide an intriguing experience for readers.

In this story a novice shape-shifter wolf meets a beautiful hybrid vampire. Good vampires set up a new coven in Southern Canada to monitor a regime intent on changing America into a dictatorship.

EXCERPT:

In this excerpt from the book an investigating reporter has had help from a relative to write a story for his news blog exposing vampires as the ones who helped stop the invasion of Russia by Communist China to gobble up mineral rich land:

"I interrupted, 'Sir, I just had a random idea.'

Everyone turned to look at me, while I turned to look at Fred (our new shape-shifter wolf friend). Fred just smiled at me...I could tell we were both thinking the same thing.

I continued, "Vlad, I don't know if what I'm about to say are my own original thoughts or if I'm picking up what Fred is thinking...the way he is smiling at me I'm not sure it isn't the latter. But what if Fred were to be able to shift into his were-wolf personal for just an instant, then shift back to tell the reporter that his friends did not like him releasing a story that vampires were responsible for what THEY did. That his kind and vampires are mortal enemies and he would be offended if credit were given to vampires for what he and his kind did to stop the terrorists and the war?

I continued, 'This would be a smoke screen' for the truth to hide behind. But it might frighten the reporter into silence or force him to delay publishing his article while he tried to refute that werewolves rather than vampires might have been responsible for all those actions. After all, I don't think he has actually seen a vampire and he would have seen Fred shift into a werewolf. My first 'fictional novel' is ready to go to the publishers, a publishing house that Grandmother owns, and I'm almost finished with the second book. It contains all the action that are the basis upon which the reporter is saying vampires were involved. If we can get both books printed with publication dates well before the reporter's article, he will be seen as plagiarizing already published works of fiction."

REVIEW:

5 Stars The best vampire novel I ever read.

This novel rates number one in vampire writings, and close to the top in science fiction. Ogan is an excellent writer. There is an occasional misspelled word, but it does not detract from the quality of the book. Ogan shows a deep knowledge of warfare and weapons perhaps from his service as a major in the USAF. The killing of others is handled very well and realistically. It is heavy on sexual content, but again done well. I shared the book with a friend who came back to me and said, 'I think this writer has overdosed on Viagra." I laughed.

I also liked the writing in first person since it showed each person's involvement and participation in  the main theme of bringing the story to the front. It is not necessary to read  the books in order unless you are one of those people who prefer it that way. The books stand alone. I read the second, the first, and the third. Loved all three and look forward to number four. It depicts vampires as friend of humans rather than monsters. It also shows a great love for animals."

BLURB
Three: A Love Story by Adriana Kraft

As erotic romance authors, my husband and I love writing ménage and polyamory stories because they offer so many options for sizzling sex scenes. We craft sexual encounters on the page that appeal to both of us in hopes they’ll appeal to the fantasies of other men and women, as well.

But what happens when these hot erotic fantasies run headlong into real-life obstacles? What does polyamory look like when it happens to ordinary people? That’s the challenge we set ourselves in “Three: A Love Story,” our contribution to the Boxed Set All You Need is Love.

Three lives—but how many loves? Two bisexual women deeply in love with each other also enjoy dating men and even arranging an occasional three-way. What if one of these women starts to fall in love with a man?

EXCERPT

Jamie tilted her head to the side as Susan curled back in next to her. “So what do you think of Mason?”

“Ah, Mason. He’s the source of your stewing. Is he starting to wear on you? How long has it been—three months? Four months?”

“He’s not wearing on me. And it’s nearly five months.” Jamie paused to wet her lips. “You didn’t answer my question. What do you think of him? What do you really think of him?”

Susan flinched. “Well, I haven’t thought a lot about him, though I must say he has stayed around longer than any guy in recent memory.” Susan sighed. “Okay, to be honest. I think he seems like a very nice guy. When he’s over here, it’s because he’s come to see you, so I don’t really spend a lot of time with him. I’ve cooked a few dinners for you guys, but most of time he comes, you go out, you come back, and you fuck like two wildcats. I’m surprised the neighbors haven’t complained. And he’s usually gone before I’m up in the morning. And lately you’ve been spending much more time at his house than at our apartment…for your love nest activities, that is. I must say that’s easier on me. I get more sleep, and I don’t have to imagine what you and he are doing to each other.”

“That’s it?”

“What else do you want me to say? I’m an English professor, not a social worker. He doesn’t seem abusive. He’s easy to look at. He doesn’t…” Susan paused. “Uh oh. If he’s not wearing on you and yet you’re stewing about him...” She arched an eyebrow. “Jams, maybe you’d better tell me what’s really on your mind.”

Jamie didn’t miss the sudden flash of anxiety that crossed Susan’s face.
